This week saw play in Singles Division 2 Group 1 and Pairs Group 2.

In the singles Mike Place was the player of the week with two wins to take him to second in the standings.

In the Pairs it seems that everyone keeps beating one another! Mike Place and Pat McCann are top of the standings with 7 points and then four teams are tied with 6 points.

Short Mat League Results

No Pairs play last week - all singles.

In Division 1 Group 1 the stand out performer was Lori Wills with two wins against Brent Bayley and Peter Stuart-Sheppard. That takes Lori to the top of the standings, equal with Peter on 9 points but with a better difference in points for and against. Bill Arthur beat Al Bell but then lost to Brent Bayley so Al remains in third place and Bill fourth.

In Division 2 Group 2 Henry Kowalski had two big wins against Andrew Perry and Jenn Wetherall to be top of the standings. The other notable game was between Marjorie Smith and Bob Coleman with Marjorie winning a close game by 13-12.
