The 2025 championships were held in Lindsay between November 17th and 23rd. There were four disciplines - singles, pairs, triples and fours. Cobourg was well represented in all the events and had some great results.
The player of the championships was Gary Pickering of Niagara Falls. He won three gold medals - singles, triples and fours. Gary was playing with Cobourg's Bill McCollam and Peter Stuart-Sheppard in triples and fours. In the fours championship they were joined by Patrick Cote from the Port Credit club. So, two gold medals for Bill McCollam and Peter Stuart-Sheppard.
Other notable successes for Cobourg members were Jake Masterson who won silver in the singles and gold in the pairs playing with Murray Bennewies from Guelph. Terry Bradshaw and Al Bell finished fourth in the pairs and in the fours they were joined by Laura Mounce and John MacKenzie and placed fourth again. In the Pairs Martin Foxhall won silver playing with David Llewellyn of Niagara Falls. Martin also won silver in triples playing with David and Travis Anderson of Guelph.
