On June 6th we celebrtaed National Bowls Day with a club 4321 tournament and an Open House. It's fair to say that both were successful. With the tournament on the south green vistors were greeted by coaches, Nan Hendren, Julie Perry, Bill Arthur and our guest coach for the day, Baylee van Steijn. Fifteen people dropped in at the Open House and hopefully we will see some of them returning to join the club.
In the cut throat tournament it all came down to the last round and it was a battle between Bob Coleman and Al Bell. There were lots of swings in this ten end games and some very tight heads but in the end Bob prevailed winning by 17 points.

Lina Eals won the prize for a perfect end of 10 points
