What a beautiful day for our first tournament of the season. After the cold spring it was great to have some warmth and sunshine.
Sixteen teams competed in an open fours sponsored by Port Hope Hyundai and Port Hope Volkswagen and we thank them for their continued support Last year's winners, Ron Larking's team from Cosburn Park Lawn Bowling Club won their first two games but just came up short in their final game.
The winners were Tracey Warren's team from Lindsay (3-0 47 points). In second place was Pierre Vanderhout's team from Kingston Lawn Bowling Club although 3 of the team were from Cobourg! (3-0 39 points. Third place was Rachel Jones team from the Balmy Beach club. In fourth place was Rick Barnard's team from Campbellford Lawn Bowling Club (2-1 39 points)
The one game high prize was won by Mike Mogan's team from Cosburn Park Lawn Bowling Club and the last game high prize was won by Jacob Hyatt's team from Cobourg.
