Quite the day in the CSMBA national triples championships. Some great games culminating in what is probably the best game seen at the championships since they started. The gold award went to Fred Wallbank, Martin Foxhall and David Llwellyn. They beat Travis Anderson, Marion Brunton and Penny Heneke in an extra end. Anderson came back from 2-8 after 9 ends to tie the game with a score of four in the 12th end, before losing in an extra end to a wonderful championship winning bowl from Fred Wallbank. Sheila Rogers, Fred Gundel and Pat Binnie beat Elaine Houtby, Laura MacPherson and Ian MacPherson to take bronze.
