Jitney Results - Weeks 3 and 4

9/13/2020

I didn't manage to get round to posting the week 3 jitney results so this time I am attaching the results for weeks 3 and 4. The link is below

Fran Marsh retains her place at the top of the standings with 12 points but there is a clutch of players pursuing her.

Since I do the draw  for each jitney I should tell you that I am open to bribery to place any of you on a stacked team or to place one of your opponents on a weak team. Highest bidder gets first dibs each session. :)

Leading players after week 4

Fran Marsh                           12 points
Vince (lefty) Tamburello        9 points
Bozana Brick                           9 points
Ralph Hewitt                           9 points
Malcolm Wardman                9 points
Bruce Becker                           9 points

Tuesday and Thursday nights continue to be the best attended jitneys but Saturdays have become increasingly popular. We hope to keep playing until Saturday September 26th so make the most of your opportunities to play in this curtailed season.

Finally, a note for the short mat players. Donna Longman and I have been discussing arrangements for the coming season with the CCC and we hope to be able to start on October 6th. Donna will be letting you have details once we have finalized the arrangements. And maybe those of you who will be experiencing winter in Cobourg for the first time in many years would like to join short mat. Watch this space as they say.

Good Bowling and stay safe
