Thanks to those who sent comments on the Monday jitney/ Monday night issue. Having considered all views the EC has decided that the daytime Monday jitneys should continue. In addition we are going to arrange some different events for Monday nights. Donna and Reg Longman have offered to organize events on July 15, August 12, and September 9. I don't think we will be able to arrange something for every Monday night but we will do our best to fill some more Mondays. I will update you with more about this as and when events are scheduled.
We also considered trying different formats for in club tournaments. Normally these are 3 games of 10 ends starting at 9.30am but we want to see whether variations on this will lead to increased participation.
The Canada Day tournament will stay as advertised. It will be a 9.30 start and 3 games of 10 ends. We'd like some more entries for this so please consider signing up for it.
The Windmill tournament on Saturday July 13th will now start at 10.00 am and will be 3 games of 8 ends.
The cut throat (4321) will not change nor will the Anniversary tournament on Saturday August 3rd.
The Rona Cashway tournament on Thursday August 8th will be 2 games of 12 ends and will start at 10.00 am.
