Each team played 3 games of 10 ends and after their second round games there was nothing between Ben's team and Graydon's with 2 wins each and both had 25 points. In a very close contest Ben's team were one point behind going into the final end and at one stage in that end had four bowls scoring which would have given them the game. However Graydon reduced that to one point and in an effort to secure the second point that he needed Ben had an unlucky deflection of the jack that led to Graydon winning the end.
Baylee Van Steijn, playing with Erika Groves and Owen Kirby of Kitchener came third. All in all though a good day for the Cobourg juniors as the six players competing finished in the top three.
